Suicidal Tendencies' Self Titled.

Describing this album, a friend once said, "It's a shame that certain people would only see this as mindless rambling of an angst ridden young adult, instead of the work of art it really is." I really couldn't agree more. The song "Institutionalized" is the one I feel everyone in the room can best understand & relate to though every song in the album makes the emotion clear enough to understand. This group in particular gives you the hype to thrash you've been waiting for all week. It's raw, it's classic, yes... I would play this at a party.

Dr. Octagon's Dr. Octagonecologyst

Another one of Kool Keith's aliases, just as beast as the last. This album is very obscure & futuristic. If you went to go purchase this from a record store, you would find it in the "Hip Hop" section. behind Cannibal Ox. Dr. O comes at you hard with some pretty strange shit you can still get down to, it's very hard to describe in full detail but if you're looking for unique, stylized & a change of pace... well, hey!
The violins & morbid ambient kind of feel in "Blue Flowers" made it my favorite, as well as many of my other friends when I asked.
